Authors retain full copyright over their work, and the Creative Commons license ensures that the original authorship and integrity of the research are always attributed to them.

3. No Subscription or Access Fees

As an open-access journal, JAGA does not charge readers any subscription or access fees. We also encourage authors to deposit their work in institutional or disciplinary repositories, further promoting the visibility and impact of their research.

6. Promotion of Open Science

JAGA supports the principles of open science and actively encourages practices that promote transparency, accessibility, and collaboration in the research process. The journal supports:

  • Open peer review: Our commitment to double-blind peer review ensures the integrity and fairness of the publication process, but we also encourage transparency in review practices where appropriate.

  • Open data and methodologies: We encourage authors to share the data and methodologies behind their research, facilitating greater reproducibility and verification of results.

7. Article Processing Charges (APCs)

Currently, JAGA does not impose any Article Processing Charges (APCs) on authors for the submission, peer review, or publication of their articles. We aim to ensure that our open-access model is free from financial barriers that might prevent authors from publishing their work in an accessible, global forum.

8. Ethical and Legal Compliance

As part of our open-access commitment, JAGA adheres to the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI), which aims to remove all access barriers to scholarly content, ensuring that academic research is available for the public good. Authors and editors are expected to comply with all relevant ethical and legal guidelines, including proper attribution, copyright protection, and data privacy.
